Program Updates: November

November is flying by, but there’s still fun to be had from Youth Services!

Zoom storytimes with Miss Jess continue weekly through November. No advance registration is required. All storytimes start at 10:30 AM. Learn more about each storytime.

  • Tuesdays: Wiggleworms for toddlers
  • Wednesdays: Babytime for infants up to about 15 months
  • Thursdays: Family Storytime for all ages

We are happy to announce that Take & Make Crafts are back-in-action! Each month, we’ll have one new craft kit for you to take home & create art with your child. This month’s craft is “The Great Monkey Project: Make Your Own Monkey,” provided by the Fuller Craft Museum. “Swing” by, get crafty, & GO BANANAS! Kits will be available to pick up in the Children’s Room starting on Thursday, November 19, for as long as supplies last. Specialty supplies and directions to complete the craft are included. You may need to provide crayons, markers, scissors, glue, or tape.

During the holidays, try out our virtual version of Pokémon Club! Since there’s no school – even remote school! – on Friday, November 27, we’ll log in to Zoom and play a few Pokémon rounds on video. You must have your own cards, and you should already know how to play. If you do not know how and want to learn more, you can sit in to observe other games in progress. This program is for children ages 13 and under and will start at 1 PM.
