Film and Movie Clubs

at-home theater set up with chairs, screen, and ceiling-mounted projectorAre you a movie aficionado? Do you love watching thrilling scenes unfold, or do you prefer to pick apart the theme after the lights are on? Whichever describes you best, we have a club for you! At AFL, we host regular movie viewing groups and movie discussion groups each month.

On the second and fourth Monday of each month, come in to view a Monday Movie Matinee at 1:30 PM. We screen classic favorites, recent releases, and everything in between on our big screen at Queset House. We even provide the popcorn!

Discuss films on the second Monday of each month at 6:00 PM in the Reel Talk Film Discussion Club. Watch the film ahead of time, then come prepared to dive deeper into its themes, cinematography, and more - say whatever's on your mind!

If you want a taste of both, drop in to the Hockomock Film Club's move nights, where you'll watch a film and have a chance to chat about it afterwards. These sessions are held after-hours at Queset House on the first and third Friday of each month. Hockomock Film Club is facilitated by Ed Hands.

All film clubs are for adults ages 18 and up. No registration is required. New film fans are always welcome!
