They Both Die at the End

"I'm always happy to read books that focuses on marginalized and underrepresented groups. The two main characters are both latinx LGBTQ, one is a foster child and the other comes from a single-parent household. The book itself centers on dealing with relationships, life, and death as well as the challenges that come with them. The title may prepare you for the end, but it really is an ending that sticks with you; Rufus and Mateo are two characters that are so easy to love and to miss. I may have aged out of this book's demographic, but I'm still glad that I picked it up. I'll definitely be recommending this to my younger cousins!"
