Our 2024 Teen Summer Reading Program, "Read, Renew, Repeat," starts on Thursday, June 13 and runs until Wednesday, August 28, and is open to folks between the ages of 13 and 18! There are separate programs for kids and adults, too.
Visit READsquared to register, log in, log the minutes you read, and enter to win raffles. READsquared can be accessed as a website or through their recently redesigned app. If you've participated in any of our READsquared programs before (even if you weren't a teen yet then!) you can use that same account for this year's program.
For every 1 minute of reading that you log, you will earn 1 point. Want to earn more points quickly? Write a book review for a book you just finished! For every review you write, you'll earn 100 points.
Whether you're completing your school assigned summer reading* or reading for pleasure, the minutes count! Ebooks, physical books, audiobooks... it all counts as reading.

So, you've earned a bunch of points... now what? Buy virtual raffle entries! It costs 100 points (less than 2 hours of reading, or just 1 book review) to purchase a raffle entry for a prize. We've got a dozen different prizes you can choose to enter raffles for.
You can enter as many raffles as you like, but prize winners are not eligible to win more than one prize.
Raffle drawings will take place the week of September 2.
Teens can use their points to purchase raffle entries for the following items:

- Love to draw? Spend some points on this set of artsy goodies, including a beautiful sketchbook and a set of drawing dice.
- Heartstopper Prize Pack
- Fans of Alice Oseman's graphic novel series, use some of the points you earn from reading to enter to win a tote bag featuring the series' iconic colorful leaf motif, the official Heartstopper coloring book, and a set of colored pencils.

- Teen writers can use points to enter to win a creative writing inspiration deck and journal.
