Borderland: The Life and Times of Blanche Ames Ames

"Borderland: The Life and Times of Blanche Ames Ames" is a one hour film depicting the life story of Easton resident Blanche Ames Ames (1878 - 1969).

Blanche was an extraordinary inventor, illustrator, writer, artist, suffragette, and political activist.  She and her husband, Oakes Ames, built and resided in the Borderland Mansion which is now a very popular State Park. The Easton Public Schools has recently opened the Blanche A. Ames Elementary School, named in honor of Mrs. Ames for her contributions and accomplishments. The film's producer, Kevin Friend, will introduce the film and address the updates that have been added.

Tours of the new building and light refreshments will also be provided by EPS. Please join us to learn more.
