| | | | AMES FREE LIBRARY - EASTON’S PUBLIC LIBRARY“Where the Community Connects” December 2025 Dear Easton community, Library staff work tirelessly to keep the library a place where the community can connect, learn, and thrive. As a nonprofit, we rely on your generosity to sustain and grow the services that make our library so vital—especially in this time of uncertainty, when state resources and other funding is stretched thin. Your past support has had a remarkable impact: from repairing the roof of our historic H.H. Richardson building to providing early education opportunities to hundreds of kids through storytimes, writing workshops, book clubs, and art sessions. It also paved the way for our ability to expand the English for All program - which has already helped community members gain U.S. citizenship, pursue higher education, and gain employment. These are the kinds of life-changing opportunities that your gift makes possible. 2025 marked Easton’s 300th anniversary and it was filled with many wonderful events celebrating what makes Easton great. The Ames Free Library collaborated with local businesses and organizations for special book clubs, to share our resources and skills, and to highlight some of the amazing services the town has to offer. The library has been part of Easton for almost half of the Town’s incorporation (142 years), and we are excited to continue serving Easton for as many years to come. The Ames Free Library is your library. Your support directly strengthens this community treasure, ensuring it can continue to meet today’s challenges while building for the future. Your gift of $25, $50, $100, or more will support restorations to the library’s historic campus, upgrades to the library’s technological infrastructure, and enhanced educational programming, resulting in a lasting impact on your neighbors, your family, and your town. Please give as generously as you can. Together, we can keep the Ames Free Library strong, resilient, and ready to serve everyone in Easton. With gratitude, Ian Dunbar, Executive Director | |
