Gingerbread Story and Craft

“You can’t catch me, I’m the Gingerbread Man!”

Visit the Children’s Room at the Ames Free Library at 12:30 PM or 3:30 PM for a gingerbread-centric storytime with Miss Elena! After storytime, stick around to participate in our “Disguise a Gingerbread Man Contest.”

Gingy doesn't want to be baked or eaten, so you have to help hide him from the bakers! Craft supplies will be available throughout the day (10 AM - 4 PM) to decorate and disguise a paper gingerbread man, then enter to win a small prize. Winners will be chosen and contacted by Friday 12/8. All entries will be displayed in the Children’s Room throughout the month of December.
