Current hours: Monday - Wednesday & Friday - Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Thursday 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.

  • Visits are limited to a maximum of 45 minutes per person.
  • Total occupancy in the building is limited to 10 visitors at any given time, so short waits outside may be necessary.

Mary Silva Nominated for MLA Paralibrarian Section Award

We are thrilled to learn that Mary Silva, Ames Free Library Circulation Supervisor, has been nominated to receive the Massachusetts Library Association (MLA) 2021 Paralibrarian Section Outstanding Library Support Staff of the Year Award! The winner of this award will be announced at the Virtual MLA Conference Para-Ganza Section on Tuesday, May 18, from 11 - 11:45 a.m.

According to the MLA Paralibrarian Section, "this award will be presented to the Paralibrarian who has made the most significant contribution to the library community through his or her excellence in service, positive attitude, and pride in library work."
