The Ames Free Library is delighted to present a writing workshop with our 2022 Author-in-Residence, Joseph Davis! Mr. Davis is a native of Easton who now lives in Sweden. A bilingual author, translator, and writing coach, his original Swedish-language fantasy series Kampen om Tusenvärld has received wide acclaim, and the first book has been published in English under the title The Darkenstar.
This not-to-be-missed workshop is open to all who are interested in writing, regardless of experience. It will cover topics such as finding inspiration and crafting compelling characters, and will include a number of fun and stimulating creative exercises.
The workshop will take place on Thursday, July 7 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Queset House. The event is free and open to everyone between the ages of 10 and 100.
