The Friends of the Ames Free Library is a nonprofit organization integral to promoting and supporting Library activities and programs, and purchasing items not included in the Library’s budget. We hold book sales several times a year, manage the Friends Book Sale Room at Queset House, and participate in other Library-related events.
FRIENDS SPRING BOOK SALE
Mark your calendars for our Spring Book Sale on Saturday, April 27th from 10am - 2pm (members get early admission at 9:30am). Most books are half off our regular low prices, with specialty books priced as marked. Dealers are welcome between 1pm and 2pm.
MEMBERSHIP & BENEFITS
Membership fees help support library activities and programs, and aid the library in purchasing items not included in its budget. Membership is tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law. Your membership entitles you to coupons for a free book priced $3.00 and under from the Friends Book Sale Room.
