Teen Movie Night

Coming soon…from Off the Beaten Path Productions: Teen Summer Movie Nights at the Ames Free Library!

We’re offering a series of eight movies on Thursday nights at 5:30pm in the Queset House. Come for the snacks, stay for fun films featuring oddballs, rebels, and weirdos. In a world where conformity is key, some dare to live off the beaten path. Take that path to our movie nights. We dare you.

Some films will be rated PG-13. This is a drop-in program for teens (ages 13-18). No registration is required.

This week, we'll be watching the 2012 flick The Perks of Being a Wallflower, which is based on the 1999 novel of the same name. Charlie is a shy high school freshman who meets Patrick and Sam, who introduce him to a world of loveable outcasts and oddballs and help him learn about life, love, friendship, and himself.
