Teen Movie Night

Coming soon…from Off the Beaten Path Productions: Teen Summer Movie Nights at the Ames Free Library!

We’re offering a series of eight movies on Thursday nights at 5:30pm in the Queset House. Come for the snacks, stay for fun films featuring oddballs, rebels, and weirdos. In a world where conformity is key, some dare to live off the beaten path. Take that path to our movie nights. We dare you.

Some films will be rated PG-13. This is a drop-in program for teens (ages 13-18). No registration is required.

This week, we'll be watching the 1992 hockey comedy classic The Mighty Ducks (rated PG). In keeping with our summer reading theme of "Read Beyond The Beaten Path," we'll follow this group of oddballs and underdogs in their quest to win with the help of coach Gordon Bombay, portrayed by Emilio Estevez.
