Teen Movie Night

Coming soon…from Off the Beaten Path Productions: Teen Summer Movie Nights at the Ames Free Library!

We’re offering a series of eight movies on Thursday nights at 5:30pm in the Queset House. Come for the snacks, stay for fun films featuring oddballs, rebels, and weirdos. In a world where conformity is key, some dare to live off the beaten path. Take that path to our movie nights. We dare you.

Some films will be rated PG-13. This is a drop-in program for teens (ages 13-18). No registration is required.

This week, we'll be watching 10 Things I Hate About You (rated PG-13). This teen romantic comedy, released in 1999, is based on William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew and features an all-star cast, which includes Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Julia Stiles, and Heath Ledger. Join us in the 1st Floor Presentation Commons at Queset House to laugh, cheer, and maybe even shed a tear as Kat, Bianca, Patrick, and Cameron navigate the awkwardness of high school love and hate.
