Babytime will continue to meet inside the Queset House until the weather improves. Best for infants and prewalkers, Babytime is storytime for littles - and their grownups! This session is full of songs, rhymes, and lap games - and maybe a short book - to fire up those babies' brains. Babytime meets every Wednesday at 10:30 AM and runs for about 20 minutes. Siblings are welcome (but must be registered) and encouraged to bring their own “baby” doll or stuffed animal. Remember to bring your storytime scarves!
Space is limited and registration is required. Registrants will participate in the second floor Presentation Room with Miss Jess. Waitlisted or unregistered patrons may drop in to be seated in the first floor Presentation Commons to experience a simulcast storytime on the big screen. Both rooms will be closed when capacity is reached.
Once registered, you will be registered for Babytime storytime for the entire month of March. You must complete registration for each child attending storytime (including older siblings). Due to space constraints, no more than one adult may accompany a child.
Please read your confirmation email carefully to verify your spot at storytime or your spot on the waiting list. Once you are registered, please email us if you will not be able to attend a session, or if you have to cancel your registration for the month. If you have two “no call, no shows,” your registration will be canceled to make room for the next family on the waiting list.
Please contact kids@amesfreelibrary.org with any questions or concerns.
