Hear ye, hear ye! The Kingdom of the Ames Free Library cordially invites you to our Once Upon a Kick Off to celebrate the first day of summer and the official beginning of our Summer Reading Program. The festivities begin at 2:00 p.m. with a family-friendly Choose Your Own Adventure storytime outside on the garden stage with Miss Alyisha.
Afterwards, enjoy a dragon egg hunt; giant lawn games; bubbles (cranked out by a professional bubble machine); sidewalk chalk; and visit your friendly librarians waiting inside to help you sign-up for READSquared (our online reading program). Track your reading this summer for the chance to win cool prizes!
