Boston Bruins PJ Drive

From February 16 - March 15, the Ames Free Library will be collecting new sets of pajamas for babies, toddlers, kids, and teens! Just look for the Boston Bruins PJ Drive bin near the Circulation desk. (Preferred/most needed sizes are girls' toddler sizes 2T-5T and boys' and girls' sizes 14 & up, including adult S/M. But of course, all sizes are welcome!)

We are once again helping the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners (MBLC) and the Boston Bruins in their 14th annual effort to provide cozy pajamas for those in need this winter. The pajamas will be distributed to Cradles to Crayons and the Massachusetts DCF Wonderfund which identify the children who will be receiving the pajamas. At any given time, DCF works with about 53,000 kids in low income and homeless situations, who are all in need of pajamas.

If you would prefer to send a monetary donation, checks may be sent directly to Wonderfund, 600 Washington Street, Boston, MA 02111.
