Youth Summer Reading Program 2020: Animal Yoga Tuesday STEM Activity

For kids and families! Join Miss Jess on Zoom every Tuesday at 2 p.m. for some creative, hands-on summer STEM activities.

Today, Georgi from georgisspace.com and the YMCA Easton is leading a kids’ animal yoga session!

Learn how to hop like a bunny, stretch like a cat, sit like a frog, moo like a cow and balance like a flamingo and much more...

No experience necessary. Register to join in on the animal magic…Kids will get their bodies moving gently. Yoga can help strengthen, stretch, focus and calm minds, but the main aim is to have FUN! Have your child wear comfortable clothes they can move in and get ready to do some animal yoga. We also recommend having a mat but it is not necessary.

This program is best for ages 4 to 7.

If you participate in this program, you can enter the code YOGA on your READSquared dashboard to earn a program badge! (For more information on READSquared, visit our Youth Summer Reading Program 2020 page.)
