English for All

Join us for an English for All class for immigrants who want to improve their English. During class time we practice speaking, pronunciation, listening, reading, vocabulary, and basic writing skills. We also learn about American geography and culture. Each class ends with a word game, so we have time to laugh and relax together. Students are encouraged to work outside of class on homework and books that the library provides and the instructor chooses based on the student's level and interests. After class is dismissed, the instructor stays to answer questions or review problem areas with individual students.

Julie Un, a longtime Easton resident, has a master's degree in education for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Boston University.  She taught at Massasoit Community College and at several other area schools and programs for twenty years.

Enrollment is limited; If you are interested, please contact Julie Un at jun@amesfreelibrary.org.
