Navigating Future Novelists

Best Selling author, Kevin V. Symmons is kicking off his Second Annual Write Off Tour and competition to encourage tomorrow’s literary talent. Symmons will be visiting libraries across the state and accepting submissions from local aspiring authors of all ages. He hopes to share some of his experience with novice writers while providing the winner of the competition a grand prize of having a private review with his publisher, New York’s award-winning Wild Rose Press.

Symmons, who is currently working on the sequel to his #1 Amazon best-seller, Out of the Storm, will be accepting submissions from writers age 16 and older. This year participants are asked to submit up to three pages of original writings. Every commercial fiction genre will be accepted. Format for writings should be 12 font, New Roman, double spaced. All submissions will be reviewed and receive notification once their work is received. The finalists will be invited to a reception ( tba) at the conclusion of the competition. The competition is expected to run for six months and the final winner will be announced before the holidays.

Kevin Symmons served four terms as President of the Cape Cod Writers Center and has taught Creative Writing and Writing Your First Novel at three Massasoit Community College campuses. His debut novel was a Romcon Readers Crown finalist. All of his novels. have been Amazon top ten best sellers. Two have been #1 Amazon best-sellers and been selected for the exclusive Amazon’s Encore Program.
