TEEN SUMMER READING PROGRAM 2020

Welcome to the Ames Free Library Summer Reading Program for Teens! We've posted a list of your summer reading requirements from OAHS for you to start with.

CALLING ALL TEENS 13 - 18 YEARS OLD! The 2020 Teen Summer Reading program will run for 10 weeks, beginning Saturday, June 20th and ending Saturday, September 12th. Participation and tracking will take place on the library’s READsquared online platform (scroll down to see the Teen section).

You can earn badges, points and raffle tickets based on how much time you spend reading, how many books you finish, and even for writing a book review.

Earning Points:

Every book logged as read = 10 points

Every 60 minutes logged = 15 points

Every book review submitted = 50 points

Raffle:

Every 50 points = 1 virtual raffle entry

Every 2 weeks there will be a drawing for a $10 Amazon gift card.

A grand prize winner will be selected once the Summer Reading Program has officially ended, and they will receive a $50 Amazon gift card, a selection of books or DVDs based around the Imagine Your Story theme, and, of course, some candy!
