Current hours: Monday - Wednesday & Friday - Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Thursday 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.

  • Visits are limited to a maximum of 45 minutes per person.
  • Total occupancy in the building is limited to 10 visitors at any given time, so short waits outside may be necessary.

Learning Resources: Brainfuse

Take your remote schooling to a whole new level! AFL has a new database to support your academics. 

Brainfuse HelpNow offers on-demand, personalized tutoring for K-12 students and adult learners.

Log in with your library card* to access live tutoring, asynchronous study support, skills building activities such as flash cards or practice tests, writing & editing critique, and more in all core subjects, standardized testing, and topics such as resume and cover letter writing. You can even open a personal study room to meet virtually in a small group with classmates.

You can log in to Brainfuse from wherever you are; home, school, the library, or even on-the-go! Live help is available every day from 2 PM – 11 PM. 

 

*If you do not have a library card, you can register for one on our website. This will speed up the process when you come to the library to pick up your new card. If you have an old library card that needs updating, please email us at info@amesfreelibrary.org or call us at 508-238-2000 during open hours.
