Family Fun: Creativebug

This week’s Family Fun is brought to you by Adult Services Librarian Megan. Learn more about using the free Creativebug database to get really fun craft ideas!

The weather outside may not be frightful just yet, but it is starting to get cooler. If you're already in search of some indoor family fun, look no further than Creativebug. Creativebug offers thousands of art and craft video courses for all skill levels and you can access them all for free with your library card!

Raid the pantry and spend an afternoon building a Haunted Gingerbread House. Whoever designs the creepiest house gets to pick the movie that night! Or spruce up your home school or hybrid learning spot with some DIY Felt Pennants. Show some Tiger pride or have fun designing a pennant for your favorite fictional school or sports team. Finally, celebrate a special event (or just the weekend!) with an easy and colorful dessert by making some Marbled Oreos.

The possibilities are endless with Creativebug. And don't forget to tag us in any pictures you post on social media of your projects inspired by Creativebug classes. We love seeing what you create!
