Reference assistance is available at the Main Library during business hours. Librarians are available to answer questions, locate information, and assist in research. We offer brief one on one instruction on how to use our library catalog and other reference sources.

Ready Reference

We are able to answer short, easy reference questions by phone. A typical ready reference question can be answered within 5 minutes. We do not do extensive research. If questions are more complex you may be asked to come into the library for further assistance.

You can also e-mail us with short reference requests. We will try to respond to e-mail questions within 3 business days of receiving them. Every effort will be made to provide you with satisfactory results, we ask that you be patient.
