POLICY
ON GIFT BOOKS
The Library does not automatically add books given as gifts. Each
"gift book" is subjected to the same criteria that purchased
books are accorded. IF a gift book meets the library's book selection
criteria, it is added to the collection. However no outside restrictions
can be placed on the book, i.e. "it must be reference, circulate
to children, etc.
IF
a gift book does not meet the library's selection criteria, the
book will be disposed of as the library sees fit, i.e. a book
sale, a donation to charity.

out the Donation
of Materials Receipt/Donation Form
Even
if a book is added to the collection, someday the library may
choose to discard it.
