Monday, October 20 - The Blue Ghost by Marion Dane Bauer

"Liz is staying with her grandmother in her old house in the woods of northern Minnesota when one night a noise awakens her. It is someone calling her name, calling for Elizabeth. Liz opens her eyes. There is a blue ghost in her room! What does the ghost want from her?"

Join us for a our monthly book club for grades 4-6.

"Lauer Middle School has a super-secret society—The Legend. No one knows who is in it. Or how they pull off the spectacular school-wide events. Seventh grader Travis Raines may be about to find out. Monday, September 29 - Chrissa by Mary Casanova

"Chrissa is a ten year old girl who just moved to Edgewater, Minnesota, with her father, mother, brother Tyler, and grandmother Nana. She is a very creative girl who knows how to knit and sew, and her favorite sports are swimming and diving. At her new school, Chrissa finds it hard to make friends, but Chrissa tries her best to be friendly. She later makes friends with Gwen and Sonali, but her friendship with them had a rough start."

This is an all ages, all gender book club. Whether you are interested in the books or you would just like to come and assist with the craft time, we would love to have you!

"Samantha Parkington is an orphan who lives with her rich grandmother in 1904. There are many servants in Grandmary's busy, bustling household, but there is no one for Samantha to play with. That's why she's so excited when Nellie moves in next door. Nellie has come to work so that she can send money back to her family in the city. Even though their lives are different, the two girls become good friends. Samantha is fun and loves to laugh! She is loyal, giving, and helpful; her friends consider her a 'life saver' because she is 'all heart and ready to help others.'"
