Laptop Loans
All library patrons above the age of 16 years may now borrow laptops from the Reference Desk with a valid photo ID. The laptops may only be used in the Main Reading Room and will be limited to two hours if someone is waiting.

New Museum Passes
The Friends of the Ames Free Library have generously donated exciting new museum passes for use by the community. With an Easton library card, you can now take full advantage of the valuable discounts you get at the Institute of Contemporary Art and Battleship Cove, and most recently, the New England Aquarium

From the North
-Take I-95 South to Rt 24 South.
-Take Exit 17B/EASTON and continue on Rt. 123/Belmont St.Turn right at stop sign at end of Belmont Street on to Rt. 138.
-Turn left at second set of lights on to Main St.
-Follow Main St. through town staying on the right fork.
The library is the second large, brown, stone building on the left.

From the South
-Take Rt. 24 North to Exit 17B and follow above directions.

From the South via Route 495
-Take exit 7A from 495 to Rt. 24 North to Exit 17B and follow above directions.

From Route 495 coming from the west
-Take Rt. 495 to the Bay St. exit.
-Continue on Bay St. to the intersection with Routes. 106 and 123. Cross intersection on to Rt. 123/Depot St.
-Continue until Center Street (Civil War Monument) and turn left on to Center Street.
-Turn left when Center meets Main St., at stop sign.
-Take left on to Main in front of F.L. Olmsted Rockery. Bear right at fork.
-The library is the second large, brown, stone building on the left
